• Understanding this will help when we start multiplication by 2 digit.

Multiplication by 1 digit - Using the Procedure Method

• This is a widely known and used method where you do the regrouping by writing the number on top of another number. 
• This method is faster but there can be careless mistakes when you simply just memorise the steps to doing the multiplication with understanding the concept of place value.
