[28/4] Math & Science Practice Paper

Science Practice Paper 1
  • I have marked Booklet A and returned to you for parents' signature beside the marks for MCQ. 
  • You should aim to score above 40 for MCQ. 
  • Answer key has been given out to all pupils today.
  • We have gone through some questions from Booklet B yesterday.  
  • Complete the remaining questions in Booklet B before using the answer key to check you answer.
  • Should you have any questions concerning your own answers, you may see me during recess on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Bring back Booklet B on Tuesday & Wednesday. I will be going through selected questions from Booklet B.
Math Practice Paper - Section C
  • We have done Section A & B as a Mock Test today. I will return them to you next week after I've marked them.
  • Complete Section C (Word Problem) as homework & revision. Do refer to your Heuristics Skills to identify which skill you are using for each word problem.

  • Remember to label the parts, indicating where magnets were used and where different recycled materials were used.
  • You may start making the Simple Toy over the Good Friday Long Weekend. 
  • Dateline for showcasing your Simple Toy: Week 8 - 9 May (Tuesday) after your SA1 exam.

Look for a photograph or picture (from the internet, magazine or newspaper) of an ASEAN country that you have visited or wish to visit.
Paste the photograph or picture in the blank in the postcard template.
Then, write 3 -5 sentences about why you visited or would like to visit that ASEAN country.
Please write your name, register number and class on the stamp side of the postcard.
You may design the stamp if you wish.

Recap on Steps when Measuring Angles

  • Identify the Baseline
  • Extend one line so that it's visible when the protractor is used.
  • Identify the center point / intersection
  • Decide on which scale to use (Outer / Inner Scale?)
  • Put your protractor on the angle to measure, ensuring all lines are in line with the protractor.
